Do you collect or store my conversion data?
No, we don't store your conversion data on our servers. All conversions are processed locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your history and favorites are saved only in your browser's local storage on your device, giving you complete privacy and control. You can clear this data anytime through your browser settings. Can I embed your converter on my website?

What should I do if I find a conversion error?
While we strive for accuracy using the international standard (1 inch = 25.4 mm), if you believe you've found an error, please contact us immediately at support@mm-to-inches.net. Include the specific values you're converting, your settings (precision, rounding mode), and what you expected vs. what you received. We take accuracy very seriously and will investigate promptly.
Does the tool work offline?
Once the page is loaded, all conversion calculations work offline since they're performed locally in your browser. However, you'll need an internet connection to initially load the page and access features like sharing links. Your saved history and favorites will persist even when offline since they're stored in your browser's local storage.
Can you add support for other unit conversions?
We're currently focused on providing the best mm/inches conversion experience. However, we're always listening to user feedback! Why do my saved presets disappear?
Your saved presets and conversion history are stored in your browser's local storage. They may disappear if you: (1) clear your browser cache/cookies, (2) use private/incognito mode, (3) use a different browser or device, or (4) have browser settings that auto-clear data. To preserve your presets, avoid clearing browser data or use the "Share link" feature to bookmark specific conversions.
How do I report a technical issue or bug?
To report a bug, use the contact form above and select "Technical Issue / Bug Report" as the subject. Please provide as much detail as possible: what you were trying to do, what happened vs. what you expected, your browser and device information, and any error messages. Screenshots are very helpful! We'll investigate and respond as quickly as possible.
